Malaysia Drone Chamber of Commerce and Industry: A New Era in Unmanned Aerial Innovation

The Malaysia Drone Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MDCoCI) is proud to announce its official incorporation on 17 November 2023, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of the drone industry within Malaysia and beyond.

As a newly established entity, MDCoCI is dedicated to fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration among businesses and professionals operating in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector. Our mission is to create a thriving ecosystem that supports the development of drone technology while ensuring safe and responsible usage.

 

Key Objectives:

  • Promote the interests of our members within the industry.
  • Advocate for policies that support the sustainable growth of drone technology.
  • Provide networking opportunities and resources for professionals in the field.
  • Organize events, workshops, and seminars to educate and inform stakeholders about the latest trends and regulations.

Upcoming Initiatives: MDCoCI is excited to announce a series of initiatives aimed at supporting and expanding the drone industry:

  1. Monthly Talk Show featuring various experts in Drone, AI, and related topics, conducted in Malay and occasionally in English.
  2. Free introductory Drone courses for schools, where students, teachers, and parents are welcome to participate.
  3. A Mentorship program for new startup drone entrepreneurs.
  4. R&D space facility venue for Drone engineers planning to customise Drones.
  5. Investment, grants, and expert consultancy solutions to support business development in drone companies and related industries.
  6. Sales & Marketing Clients Leads Building Sequence Process to nurture business growth.
  7. Establishment of Urban Drone Airports across every region of Malaysia.
  8. State-of-the-Art Drone Parks in every state to foster innovation.
  9. Increased synergy between organisations such as drone industry players, government authorities, drone agencies, and research experts.
  10. Encouraging teenagers to explore drones through the “Young Scientist Entrepreneur” program.
