The Malaysian Pranava Yoya (MPY) registered under UNESCO in 1993, is a mental and physical health oriented humanitarian organization. It is non-sectrarian, and purely in persuit of creating awareness and understanding of yoga as a science of holistic self development for individuals in society through teaching practice and various related charitable activities for the underprivileged and social disadvantaged.

Dr. M.Raajamanikan D.Sc. PPN, PJK, the presedent and Founder of MPY, holds the titles of Yoga Master, Yoga Selvar, Makkal Thondar, Silamba Chemmaal, Tokoh Masyarakat, Toko Guru, Yoga Bishekh and Yoga Tilagam, where the latter two titles were awarded to him by India Institute of Yoga.

Dr. M.Raajamanikam has been practicing and teaching yoga for the last 62 Years (since 1968). However, he started his career as a Primary and Secondary school Tamil teacher for 33 years before embarking on a professional career as a yoga instructor. He attended the Open International University in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and was awarded the “Doctor of Science” title. He has compiled and written 8 books on yoga and health which includes one in English.

Dr. M.Raajamanikam has 72 branches holding public yoga classes in Malaysia (Except Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak, Sabah and Sarawak) and has conducted more than 25,000 yoga students in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Newzerland, Thailand, India, Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea. Some of the programs he has conducted include those pertaining to the use of yoga in the management of diabetics, breast cancer and asthma. He has also trained almost 45 diploma teachers. He is also skilled in Silambam, Varmam, acupressure and self-defence, traditional massage, accupunture, water therapy, banana leave bath, sand bath, sun bath and steam bath.

Dr. M.Rajamanikam has hosted several conferences and in year 2002, the conference was officiated by Dato’ Seri Samy Velu and in year 2009 by Dato’ Veerasingam. He also has given daily morning talks on yoga for 2 years daily in RTM.

Dr. M.Rajamanikam is also the MIC Klang Chairman and has being awarded Makkal Thondar three times. He is also very active social activities like helping the needy homes, single mothers and lower income groups who are facing financial hardship.
